The Tree Felling Project
We previously engaged with North Somerset Council to safely remove a number of trees in a North Somerset Council car park. This project was located in the busy village of Banwell. The location added a complexity to the project that Lanning’s was able to manage. Our team is well practiced in dealing with potential risks and recognises safety as being of vital importance in any tree felling project.
What we did
This project included the felling of large trees & section dismantling by our experienced climbers. The conifers had largely been left untouched and as such they had grown beyond control. Confierous trees grow vigorously and so these trees may only have taken a matter of years to reach this size. If you plan to plant this specie in a domestic garden we highly recommend that you reasearch the characteristics. Be sure to check out our handy guide to tree selection for the home garden.
We restricted public access to the area whilst we completed our works because we understand the risks involved. With insurance in place, our team carried out a thorough Risk Assessment Method Statement to ensure public and employee safety. Our team are fully trained and experienced in assessing risks to the surroundings, including buildings, vehicles and pedestrians.
The high quality of our work impressed our client. Specifically, they valued our attention to detail in the planning, preparation and execution of the project. Our team members are skilled communicators allowing them to be able to ensure client expectations are met at all times.
We pride ourselves on being contracted by North Somerset Council on numerous projects. We thrive on client engagememt to achieve fantastic results.
